Getting started
What is CollectIQ?
A tool that matches buyer requests to seller inventory. Buyers tell you what cards they want; when you have a match, both sides get notified.
Who is it for?
Card shops, online sellers, dealers, and platforms in the collectibles space — trading cards, sports cards, Pokémon, coins, comics.
How do I get started?
Create a free account, set up your workspace, and share your request link. You can also embed a widget on your site or print a QR poster.
Is there a free plan?
Yes. Free includes 1 workspace, 1 user, and 10 automatic matches per month. During beta, all Pro features are free.
How matching works
How does matching work?
We compare buyer requests against your inventory using card name, set, condition, and price range. Every match shows exactly why it scored the way it did.
What counts as a match?
Each time we run your requests against your inventory. Results are cached, so re-viewing them doesn't count.
Can I customize matching?
Enterprise plans support custom rules and scoring. Free and Pro use a default algorithm that covers most use cases.
Billing
What if I hit my plan limit?
We warn you at 80%. At 100%, things slow down but nothing breaks. Upgrade anytime.
Can I switch plans?
Yes. Upgrades are immediate. Downgrades take effect next billing cycle.
What payment methods work?
All major credit cards via Stripe. Enterprise can pay by invoice.
Is there a contract?
No. Month-to-month. Cancel anytime.
Technical
Is there an API?
Yes. Pro and Enterprise include full REST API access with a TypeScript SDK.
Can I put CollectIQ on my website?
Yes. Add our widget to any page in minutes. Visitors submit requests directly from your site.
How do webhooks work?
We send notifications to your server for key events — new requests, matches found, etc. Enterprise webhooks are signed for security.
Is my data safe?
Yes. Encrypted in transit and at rest. Access controls on every database query. Rate limiting on all endpoints.
Integrations
What integrations are available?
Shopify inventory sync, CSV import, REST API, webhooks, and an embeddable widget. eBay is coming soon.
Can I build my own?
Yes. Our API and SDK make custom integrations straightforward. We also have starter kits to help you get started.
